Our Vision

To combine the best European technology in indoor cycling with the best Australian coaches and service standards. We understand traditional gym spinning classes and knew that customers would get a better fitness experience  by offering a bespoke timetable with more variety, fun and a local personal service that a big gym chain can not provide.

The first stage of that journey was the opening of the Balgowlah Heights studio in late 2013. A team of 8 remarkable people have joined us, sharing the same passion for excellence in all that we do. Combined experience of 100+ years in fitness services is here for you to select from. And since then we are already seeing our members travelling from as far as Palm Beach, Wahroonga and of course central Sydney!

Faster

We run motivating, fun, indoor cycle fitness classes for all levels on Wattbikes  that give you a real road feel. By fully  engaging all leg muscles (which a spin bike doesn’t) you will achieve Stronger Legs, and a fitter body (in less time) plus you burn more calories per class.

We were asked “can you do more than classes for us?” So we introduced Personal Training at affordable rates.

More of what you want

We do offer over 30 classes a week. We have created the programme by listening to our customers. The whole studio is designed to allow classes to run around lifestyles of our differing customers, busy mums (we even adjust to school opening hours and will change around holidays etc) Busy Dads (later classes for commuters) plus seniors and those that are new or returning to exercise.

Improved Technique

We also run specialised Cycle Coaching classes for Cyclists that want to improve technique and performance to then take out on the road or track.

We also offer Holistic, Peaceful and relaxing therapy classes to enable hard working local people to unwind at times to suit them. Pilates, Yoga and other classes for those whom seek a therapeutic approach to wellness.

James

Team Bringing 9 years of fitness industry experience specialising in indoor cycling at a presenter and master trainer level and now currently studying his final year in a Bachelor of Applied Fitness. Back this up with 8 years of Endurance mountain bike racing, in which he has competed in 24hr Solo world championships and The Crocodile Trophy in the same month along with dozens of marathon races and 3years in a row making the podium in the WSMTB 12hr solo endurance race. Being able to share my passion for fitness and cycling to the precision we can on Watbikes is truly my dream job”

Amy

Amy has extensive experience of more than 10 years in the Industry with a strong background in Group Exercise and personal training. She started her career as a RPM instructor and have taught in gyms, athletic stadiums, mine sites and studios around the country.

Alongside cycle classes she has experience in boxing, weight circuit, outdoor training and has organised and implemented successful triathlon training programs, run clubs and weight loss challenges.

Passion for group fitness, Hockey coaching and Personal training! Originally from the UK I was quickly immersed into the fitness industry from a young age working as a personal trainer and a group exercise instructor including Circuit Training, Aqua aerobics, Zumba, Pilates, BoxFit and X-Bike classes from the age of 16 and I haven’t stopped since!

I straight away fell in love with the Wattbikes with their ability to display power wattage this really assists in training for match fitness, being a low impact form of exercise they are also fantastic for recovery sessions and off-season fitness training. If you are looking for variation in your team sport periodisation plan then these bikes simply could not be better.

Bringing enthusiasm,a smile and 7 years experience as a group fitness instructor in London,UK, Jacqui has recently returned “home” and is excited to share her broad range of group class knowledge with you. Teaching classes such as BoxFit, Body Conditioning, Zumba, Aqua Aerobics and of course Indoor Cycle she has encountered many different ages and abilities and loves seeing individuals reach goals within a fun and team like environment.

You can achieve almost anything! Has over 14 years in the health and fitness industry as a Group Fitness Instructor, personal exercise coach, sports therapist and manager. With a degree plus masters degree in sports and exercise science, Lizzie lives and breathes health and fitness.

Originally from the UK moved over to Australia 8 years ago and has never looked back! Places particular emphasis on programming for cycle classes, whilst keeping her classes fun and enjoyable, because she wants you to achieve results and be able to maintain them.

There’s more to pilates than developing “strong abs” or “core strength”. Pilates is an exercise system that focuses on stretching and strengthening the whole body to improve balance, muscle-strength, flexibility and posture. It was created by German-born Joseph Pilates in the early 1900s and incorporates elements of yoga, martial arts and Western forms of exercise.
